 ical psychologist and applied gerontologist based in Portland, Maine. He m
 oved here in 2018 from Missouri to serve as the Founding Director for the 
 University of New England Center for Excellence in Aging &amp; Health. He 
 retired from this role in 2024 and is now self-employed as a geriatric neu
 ropsychologist and a researcher-educator for both the Maine Bureaus of Mot
 or Vehicles and Highway Safety. His programs focus on informing and empowe
 ring older adults to make reasoned decisions on driving mobility. The Main
 e Mature Driver Program is sponsored by the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety
 ,with assistance from the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
