Serving Our Seniors - A Lunch and Learn Series 

This presentation is the first in a four-part series. Each program will take place on the last Thursday of each month. June 27, July 25, August 29 and September 26 each at 12 noon. Presented by Serving Our Seniors of York, Maine.

 

Longevity--living a longer life--is not the only desirable outcome.  The primary goal is to extend the period during which we are healthy. The major factors that lead to adding healthy years to your life will be shared with participants. Expect to leave with achievable take-a-ways and a clear understanding of healthy longevity. Presented by Jonna Dijkstra.

Jonna is an engaged participant in York, Maine as well as a local business owner of InspiredMovement. To know her is to understand a deep passion for engaging both mind and body to inspire others to do the same. Jonna's mission in life and in her business has always centered around empowering individuals to achieve their desired levels of physical and mental strength tailored to their unique lifestyles. She believes that improving your health and wellness can be life-changing. 

Jonna holds certifications as a personal trainer, functional nutritionist, health and wellness coach, balance and aging coach, among others. Jonna works at the Center for Active Living teaching strength and balance courses as well as classes for her own business InspiredMovement.
