This is home fire safety training covers the most common causes of home fires, how to mitigate them, and the importance of smoke alarms and escape plans. Home fires are by far the most frequent disaster nationwide, and the Red Cross responds to nearly 60,000 home fires every year. Unfortunately, they're also the deadliest disaster: On average, 7 people die in home fires every day, and 2023 saw a record number of home fire deaths in Maine. This home fire safety presentation can help prevent fires outright and prevent injury or loss of life when they do occur.
