On behalf of the York Public Library Centennial Committee, I am sorry to write that due to concerns about an increase in COVID cases in York and York County, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Roaring '20s Centennial Gala scheduled for November 3 at Clay Hill Farm. Holding a large indoor celebration seems to be an unnecessary risk to the health of individuals in our community.
We hope to gather together at a later time—perhaps when the weather is such that we can be outside or when the risks of COVID have diminished. Please stay tuned for information about a future celebration in honor of our 100 years.
For those of you who have already purchased tickets, refunds will be issued in the coming days. All other Library events will continue as planned.
