Program Description

Event Details

The COVID Pandemic has impacted all of our lives in numerous ways over the past thirty months. The impact has extended far beyond the loss of life or debilitating illness, to include the most fundamental aspects of society-from the closing of schools and businesses, to the enormous financial costs. What has been true for us locally, has also been true for the entire world’s population. That, perhaps, is what has made this episode unique, a common experience for many billions of people in every one of the inhabited continents.

What would this look like if those two or more years could be viewed from one month to the next, from the very beginning in late 2019 until the present moment? That is what will be presented as a table display at the York Public Library, a three dimensional chronology of the pandemic, dedicated to all who have lived through this somewhat unparalleled event in modern world history.
