Officer Simeoni, a former Eliot Police Officer, now serves with the Kennebunk Police Department and is contracted through the State’s Department of Public Safety as the nation’s first Elder Justice Investigator. She is spearheading this innovative and position, the first of its kind, and will share what her new role means for the State of Maine and its commitment to protecting older adults.

Officer Simeoni is a national trainer in Elder Exploitation and Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Victim Assistance. She is the President and Founder of the York County Elder Abuse Task Force, established in 2005, and is widely recognized as a trailblazer in elder justice.
