Purpose of Meeting
The U.S. Department of Labor Office of Labor Management Standards provides training to union officers and other interested parties on how to comply with the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA), the Civil Service Reform Act, and certain other laws and regulations related to unions. We focus this training on required financial recordkeeping and reporting and on union elections. We plan to offer this seminar to union officers and others who may be interested in Maine and surrounding areas.
