Event Details

Overview of the issues, the regional history on affordable housing, and the need for a variety of housing options.  This program will provide a review of how we got here and what the next steps are to creating affordable housing solutions in Southern Maine.  A brief overview of YCSA's housing consultations on how to create an ADU or become a landlord will be presented by Housing Innovation Manager (former York Director of Code Enforcement), Amber Harrison.  Other speakers include: Tom Emerson, Architect and Affordable Housing Advocate; Kendra Amal, Kittery Town Manager; and DeCarlo Brown, York Assistant Planner.
