Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Community Workshop

Purpose of Meeting

The York Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee invites community members to participate in an interactive workshop to identify safety and accessibility issues for pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable users in York.

 Drop in participants are encouraged. Stop in for a brief visit to provide your input or stick around to engage with neighbors in fostering a more friendly pedestrian and bicycling community for all.

 Some things to consider:

·         Do you or would you like to walk or ride a bicycle instead of using a car for your local activities? What limits you from doing so?

·         What are your favorite routes for recreational walking and/or biking?

·         How can individuals, groups, or the Town better support safe and accessible walking and cycling in York?
